Through civic engagement activities, ROC Action, a 501(c4) organization, advances policies that benefit (not only) restaurant workers and their families. Often left out and taken for granted by our political system, restaurant workers provide essential functions, creating vibrancy and a sense of community in our cities and rural areas. As skilled, caring professionals they devoted their lives to feeding other working people, families, elderly, children, visitors, and all hungry people.

Advocating for the Restaurant Workers’ Bill of Rights as a unifying, ambitious, long-range vision for our community of workers and allies, we build a stronger democracy and a more prosperous and just society. This bill of rights is a proclamation that builds upon the universal human rights that transcend special interests of corporations, governments, and other institutions.
